Idaho bound from Becca

Not to fret the McLachlan’s are coming to town(soon). I have this app on my Kindle that tells me how long until we get home, and it says that we are coming back in 11 days!!!!! I literally can not wait to come home. It’s like I haven’t been home in years. Although it feels that we were in New Zealand just a few days ago.

Among all the beautiful places in the world we visited my favorite was Thailand. It is probably my favorite because of the food and the pools. Thailand was hot but there was a pool in most places. We visited 9 countries. First, Hong Kong China, second, Thailand, third, Cambodia, fourth, Vietnam, fifth, New Zealand, sixth, Turkey, seventh, Italy, eighth, France, ninth, Canada.

I met a lot of my mom and dad’s friends and their kids on our world travels. I didn’t make very many friends because most of the time we were in places where people don’t speak english. When we were in New Zealand, I made a few friends because they speak english there. In Canada, I have a lot of cousins, 12 to be exact, and I spent a lot of time with them. 7 of my cousins came to visit us in New Zealand for 3 weeks over Christmas break. It was really fun to have them with us for Christmas and to spend time with them. I hope I get to see them again soon.

Kiwi Christmas on the beach!

I can’t decide what is the most fun thing I have done on this trip as there has been so many fun things. These are some of the fun things I have done. Swimming with the bio phosphorescence plankton in Cambodia. Ropes course and luge in Vietnam. Walking in the markets and buying food in Thailand. Doing a cooking class with my mom in Cambodia. Mini golf with my cousins in Whangamata, New Zealand. Going to the top of the Eiffel tower in Paris, France. Doing a Turkish bath in Istanbul, Turkey. Using electrical bikes in Montecatini, Italy. Celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday. Horseback riding camp in Canada. Amusement and water parks in Vietnam. Seeing the Coliseum in Rome. Going to Pompei in Italy. Camping with my cousins in New Zealand and taking care of a campground on 90 mile beach, New Zealand. Now come to think of it, I have done so much in this year. I can’t wait to see all of you again!

See you soon,

Becca Grace McLachlan
